Released as soundtrack for the Poe-inspired art show Spirits Of The Dead presented by The Scarlet Letter Press & Gallery in Salem, MA in October 2014. As opposed to his literary works, this album explores the melancholic and quaint life, love, and death of Poe. The mood and ambience that usually live on the periphery of 1476’s work takes center stage here. Each song draws upon neoclassical and experimental influences to weave piano and string sections with analogue synthesizers, samples, glitch, and drone into an atmospheric yet engaging album. A dark and low key affair.

For fans of Ulver, Coil, Frédéric Chopin, Current 93, and Sigur Rós.

Originally released on October 1, 2014 by New England art collective Seraphim House. Reissued in 2016 by Germany’s wayward metal and dark folk label Prophecy Productions.

Comes in a full color, 6 panel Digipak.
